Overview
DOGE is hiring a lean team of small-government crusaders, including some of the sharpest technical and legal minds in America. These are individuals with high IQ that can bring about the changes required in government efficiency in the US. his team will work in the new administration closely with the White House Office of Management and Budget.
This role will end July 4, 2026, leaving a gift to give our country on its 250th birthday than a federal government that is massively downsized.
Candidate requirements
These are the minimum requirements a candidate must meet to be considered for this role.
- Super high-IQ
- Willing to work 80+ hours per week on unglamorous cost-cutting
- Innovators, not bureaucrats.
- Not just good at identifying waste but are also relentless in eliminating it
- Not looking for a comfortable government job
- See a challenge and dive in headfirst to make real change happen, with or without personal acclaim
Job responsibilities
- Restore common sense regulation, instead of the mindless mountains of meaningless paperwork.
- Identify pinpoint executive actions that would result in immediate savings for taxpayers.
- Ensure US tax dollars are being spent wisely.
- Identify Inefficiencies
- Eliminate unnecessary regulations
- Propose executive actions to drive change
- Work with embedded appointees in agencies to identify the minimum number of employees required at an agency for it to perform its constitutionally permissible and statutorily mandated functions.
- Help end federal overspending by taking aim at the $500 billion plus in annual federal expenditures that are unauthorized by Congress or being used in ways that Congress never intended.
- Develop software-assisted tools and expert legal analysis to identify regulations for immediate suspension.
- Reform procurement processes by auditing payments and suspending them temporarily during reviews.
